Infinity Lions Club of UTD is affiliated to Lions Club International – the largest service organization in the world and certainly one of the most recognized ones as well. Lions Clubs International has about 1.5 million members in over 150 countries. It was founded on June 7, 1917 in the United States by Melvin Jones of Chicago. Melvin Jones, a businessman, asked, “What if these men who are successful because of their drive, intelligence and ambition, were to put their talents to work improving their communities?”
Guided by our motto of “We Serve”, the Infinity Lions Club focuses on doing community service work in the North Texas area through many activities and by donating money to various charities. During our very 1st year, we were awarded the Outstanding Community Service Award 2013 by UT Dallas for being the club that best exemplified and engaged in community service.
Our members not only do community service projects, but they take part in fun activities. They also take advantage of the numerous networking opportunities that being a Lions Club International member provides. We encourage you to look through our website and contact us if you are interested in becoming a Lion. New members can join at any time.
